VPP is a well established technology from Cisco and Intel offered as opensource, Cisco use it embedded into a number of their products, and its been around since 2011, although its opensource am pretty sure its patented by Cisco and Intel jointly, was looking around but cant find the exact details.
Is netgate owned by Netlinkz, was confused re the ref before, not sure why Netlinkz would use them if not as opensource software is pretty easy to use and all the manuals are online for all the build, testing etc including devices
