i doubt COE will be taken over - most oil cos are cash rich + trying to replenish their reserves (same position as COE) by taking over cos with proven reserves. COE has got HUGE potential but reserves capped at only 1.2mil. if anything COE might be the one taking over/merging with another co. just imo. i was just checking out CIG with market cap >50mil - NOT profitble, only 6mil cash fr memory, but has that "kazakhstan-factor", Santos backing and some pretty pictures. makes me feel safe in the safety of COEs 26mil cash, NPAT 8-9mil pa, great acreage..
