"This gold price volatility is ridiculous. "
It sure is, but what is really making it tick, or not tick?

I dont believe Goldman Sachs or JP Morgan predictions any more..........even if they know what will happen they wouldnt tell you till its over and they've made their $$$.
We know India is a huge user of gold, and gold was its 2nd biggest import. Their gold imports dropped 74% in April, and total gold-silver imports fell 40% in 2013-2014, apparently due to govt curbs, import tariffs , and continuing hikes of the same. The Indian govt appears quite active in all this....not that I have a clue what their motive is, but it would have to impact on our gold price.

I sold out of SLR some time back, and at present only hold one other gold stock not yet producing.
I'm interested in what others think is happening with regards to India's actions.
