Once its regulated it will cost just as much as anything else.
The price/value comes from how confident the buyer is that he can sell it for more later. If most people start to feel its not going to go up, there is no reason to buy it as it never can become under valued since its not a share in anything for it to be over sold, hence why its plunging back to $0
