Hello ,
I have some money and don't know much about shares. I am considering buying few thousand CBA shares today or Monday 16/2/15 before ex dividend date and selling on Friday 20/2/15 to be eligible for the dividend payment.
My hesitation is whether the SP drops dramatically after record date.
The SP is at a very high price so I'm wondering if it has been going up over the past 6 weeks as the dividend payment approaches and it will plummet next week?
Would some experienced dividend investors please guide me?
Also what charts could I watch to track the overbought on scholastic?
