As you will see CBA does drop after dividend. The dividend was about $2.00 you are best to buy today or yesterday when the stock dropped over $2.00 - I think it was about $3.50 there abouts and sell in a few weeks when it goes back up. Not a dividend but a rebound still giving the same result without the franking credits.
