Yeah I know what you mean I find it hard to stay on top of all the news for all my holdings and find myself using subscriptions to fill the research gap.

This is the quote from the latest annual report;

MANAGING DIRECTOR’S REVIEW - Outlook

...In the coming year we aim to achieve four
major milestones:

1 - Ramping up production for the Joint Strike Fighter project;
2 - Transferring all Western Australia activity at Coogee to our NSW-based Bankstown Airport manufacturing facility by the end of 2012;
3 - Beginning qualification and delivery of first parts on the C-130J wing flaps contract;
4 - Commercialising and delivering the first automotive parts using Quickstep’s RST.

1, 2 and 3 will all happen and will all directly improve the financial position. Increased production is a no brainer and number 2 will allow the sale of unneeded equipment.

IMO its number 4 that's the exciting one. I don't think they are suggesting over the next year to sign and start production but it's more likely to mean the coming years plan is to sign MOU's with car manufacturers like AUDI.

So its pretty safe to say we wont see production for auto parts, but I can see plans to fit out the new Bankstown facility with equipment to start production. This I think will be the main reason for capital raising but I'll happily dig a little deeper if it happens.
