Having said this, based on the actions of China, it seems to point towards Xi waiting Trump out past 2020, which could spell disaster for the World's economy. If gold plummets, I'll just buy more because there is no way this crazy monetary looseness is sustainable - $15T in negative yielding bonds globally, RBNZ 50bps rate cut, India 35bps cut vs. 25 expected, Thailand 25bps cut vs. steady - all citing slowness, not meeting inflation targets, economic non-confidence, etc.
