    thanks for your input raider if what you say is true that it will double in ten years well thats 10% p/a and if Im able to claim the interest but not the principal on the loan Im only actually paying 1.25 % out of my pocket not including rates etc which are claimable so 10% less 1.25 % it doesnt seem to bad to me I have other issues with income generation holdings eg an ex wife(maintanance payment)who has her hands in my pocket every dollar I earn so I have to be careful. The land is an acre so it may become subdividable later its in a wine region not by the water, Im taking a punt but so is being in the stock market
