It is an all or nothing gamble.

If market sentiment turns in favour of the specs and there are a few good anns you could make $10-20K.

More likely is that the market will remain cautious on specs until late in the year and news won't be good enough to get them in the money.

You never know though when a company is drilling - they could hit a new oilfield and go to 70c in a day - giving you a $29K profit for a $1K outlay.

I hold options from much higher levels (ave 10c) so am hurting now but am holding out for a miracle.
