That's the thing when "lifestyle directors" end up on boards of companies like this. BID directors seem to be drawn from a pretty shallow gene pool whose best, or should I say hardest working, years are behind them at the likes of Foxtel, Crown & Optus where long lunches and director junkets were the norm. At their time of life when the hunger isn't there anymore, well paid directorships of small caps like BID are what you do between skiing trips to Zermatt. Costs blow out and never get reined in and silly little accounting tricks are the order of the day. Come the annual results drop I'm sad to say these guys are a tax loss for me.
