Thank you to WOW for presenting MTS investors with a great buying opportunity following their quarterly earnings update. I took the opportunity to buy a few more as the dip in price is clearly not related to MTS or its performance. MTS was just caught up in the share market melee.
We have a little over 1 month before our half yearly results are out. If the information on YTD sales released from the investor day proves accurate (and continued for the whole period) then we will see our first upside earnings surprise. That should fire up the shorts!!
Then, the company can provide an update on expectations on new initiatives - which there have been a few - that could again fire up the share price.
All in all, it is not a sprint but a marathon. Yesterday's action was what I would call an excellent buying opportunity - which I gladly took advantage of.
