buying patterns

Less than a month ago there were less than 100.000 GUN wanted across the first ten lines of buyers. For once pussycat and I agreed that if 26 cents did not hold it would be carnage with 20 cents or less not being out of the question. Today there are 1 million wanted across the same ten lines. At first I thought it was a flow on from the MOX rise, the MOX ground being in line and on trend with GUN. However today when the air went out of MOX, erroneously I believe, GUN went up 11/2 cents. Why?

Any thoughts on this riddle will be appreciated.
