i too was unimpressed by perth mint spread on physical silver

I think the perth mint certificates are as good as you can get worldwide as far as paper silver is concerned, i dont know what the spread is on that but it should be much better

i know there are plenty of people on HC who will tell me i am mad for even considering such a thing, but realistically if there is a run on silver you can convert your paper to physical pretty quickly once you are established with an account and hold paper. I would be very confidant that they will fulfill their obligations

anyway if your paper silver doubles in value, then it becomes logical to covert to physical - otherwise why bother with the spread and storage costs ?
