i will go into our storage shed and get the final buy out price by xstrata. at the time norm cloeman fussel was ceo or close to it. we had the agm at the brisbane exhibition and convention centre. the price was early to mid 70 cents range. there was a total level of disgust on the day by us the usual shareholder not to accept the xstrata takeover offer. however the large instos won the day and the rest was history.
as for the other comment that it was 2003. the best part of being old is watching mistakes being repeated over and over. and over again.
at 63 cents you just cant believe how de ja vu this is. there will be an enormous buying spree at this price. imo, and thats all it is, quality at this price is extremely rare.
