    Why would anyone buy the rumour sell the fact right now? For any company?

    That is a good question - yet it happens alot when companies expect positive news flow.

    Gold will not get a sustained rally anytime soon - unless the USD trends back down. That wont happen until Euro get everything sorted and attention will turn back to US.
