If the price is right for the rest of what Santos has to sell to...

    If the price is right for the rest of what Santos has to sell to us and it stacks up from a financial business case, wouldn't CTP just get funding from a bank to make the purchase? That would make much more sense to me...a CR to buy it would only dilute shareholders further and undermine the confidence in the deal. Lending money from a bank hasn't been cheaper in the recent history of Australia, so you can't tell me they couldn't get funds that way!?
    I'm not in a favour of a CR, if we can't afford to buy the rest based on a loan and sound business plan, then we should be cautious and not buy it.
    My humble thoughts...
