I realise it is only a small percentage of trade but disagree with you that it isn't a relevant indication of strength. Like a Poll survey indicates voting strength, etrade buy/sell volumes are a sample of the overall market! If it only held ground today with last nights "survey" of strength it doesn't look good promising for Monday unless circumstances change.
