The Rivkins are still recommending ABC at these levels. They seem to be taking confidence from the fact that PPT has been buying up ABC big lately, and therefore they must know something.
Isn't this a high risk strategy at the moment? - ie buying so close to the takeover price with ACCC litigation pending? Do PPT have some inside knowledge of the chances of Boral winning against ACCC?
If Boral do fail in the takeover because it is blocked by the Federal Court, then ABC would be trading back at around $1.12 quick smart one would think. Any opinions welcome.
