Do we know on what terms Shaws were approached though. I do get from their POV, a singular (or multiple) cross-trades are probably not great for them as they miss out on the brokerage fees that they gain when trickle selling.
I dont see how @virtuozi's suggestion to include anticipated brokerage fees (and buyer fees) is not favourable to all parties. a XT is favourable to all parties but shaws.
