I understand the problem here though is that the pipeline owner requires input of at least 2MMcf/d for connection into their pipe.
Now that does not all have to come from one well - though if it takes 10 wells to be drilled before connecting GDN would be long gone by then.
And at 0.2 mmcf/d - about $1000/day worth of gas to GDN into the pipe - it certainly would not be worth spending another $21M, or even $5m for another well (payback period would be about 60 years at $21M or 15yrs at $5M even neglecting further costs!)
They will have to hope they can get this well to at least 1mmcf/d to make it worthwhile trying another well to achieve the minimum connection requirement.
