This is my first post on Hot Copper. I hold over 1mil of imi (bought in July 07). I am a member (reader) of Hot Copper for a year.
The following is what I believe and I may be wrong, time will tell.
Today - Tommorow
I think there is lots of buyers waiting off screen to find the bottom. These people bought at 1.?c and sold at 3.0c. They will come back eighter at close today or tommorow with few 2-5 mil buys this will change the sentiment and move the price above 3c.
Next Week or Two
The price will slowy drift upwards towards 4c. When the next annoucment will come, they will sell again sending price back to 3.2 3.3c when they will reenter.
This will repeat over and over till September with price each time moving slightly higher and in September should be around 5c. During this time we will probably have some annoucents regarding health funds, Italy, FDA approval, small deals, some body once mentioned India, some milestones like first 10/50/100 pharmacies with IMI etc.
The key are the finances. I do not expect the company to be in profit APR-JUN quater but if they make half or even 1mil profit in JUL-SEP quater, then investors will start comming in OCT/NOV.
This will send the price to 8c-10c. People with options at 4c will put more money into IMI and th future will be bright. On the other hand if JUL-SEP quater has a loss then everyone will sell out, options will be burned, investors will not even look at IMI and the share price will be 1c.
What I want to say is that SIGMA/Health funds, Middle east, and any other annoucment is just a piece of a puzzle. Company maker or breaker will be JUL-SEP balance sheet. Till then we will just have to ride these waves that traders give us.
