Hey Timba, I agree. I have a post-grad degree in economics, and have done plenty of econometric, so know my way around the issues. For cross sectional data like this, the coefficient of determination (R2) is usually quite low compared to time series, so caution must be exercised when attempting to draw inferences about overall significance purely on the basis of R2 values
