As if taking a cue from your post, here's the latest online report from Simon Cullen about reactions to the Howard Govt.'s identification as profligate:

Oh how the truth hurts; JWH has gone into the history books as our most profligate PM and the entire world has been told about it. I guess it's too much to expect a retrospective "Sorry!" though.
