You have previously admitted you don’t know enough about trial design to critically assess what MSB is doing, but you won't admit it later.

Then you used a pharmaceutical company which had trouble with it's trial design to compare with stem cells trial design. It's not going to be the same risk, is it?

Specifically though:

The risk and design of such clinical trials would be unavoidably different. That's just using logic and commonsense, the quality you denigrated in me.

The truth is, you and fruitbat2 weren’t talking about MSB’s trial design at all, it was Osiris previous tests, and MSB has taken them over.

What fruitbat is worried about was the extent to which MSB is using the Osiris model, and he simply doesn’t know. You don't know either.

Also instead of issuing insults to me you could try calling the company and speaking with a fellow scientist? That wouldn't be satisfying?

I don't claim to be a scientist, but I understand risk and analysis and logic. I also understand it's very easy to get caught up in vague fear instead of looking at some threshold issues.
I also accept that I don't need to understand every aspect of the clinical trials, to have faith in this team.
Now you've been extremely rude because you thought (in error) that you had some kind of psychological advantage.
It was an interesting discussion, but then you acted like 4 seasons has not made any contribution at all.
No, the science is not easy, but also it's about asking the right questions.
