I'm not so sure there IS a lot of cash sitting on the sidelines. Most investors looking to go long on BHP have probably taken a bit of a hit along with the rest of the world lately. Once bitten twice shy.
IF I had access to a lot of cash, I would love to get in at these prices. Just remember that there is an awful lot of de-leveraging going on.
