these are irrational rises
back when bhp was $30 commodites were in uptrend and bhp could grow its output at higher and higher prices
now commodites are totally off and bhp has to cut back its output. it can't increase its iron ore output anymore at high prices as there is no market demand. iron ore is just that - a dirty junk
