I've seen these announcements before:

This divesture from the Bongo and Bowtie Prospects enable Verus to focus its efforts and funding toward both the Sidi Dhaher and Fausse Point projects, as well as assessing other potential investment opportunities.

Assessing other opportunities is possibly code for something like

'we have another drill opportunity ready. There is a CR coming to fund it followed by a mini pump during drilling for Si's to get out'

The money raised for the last one of these could have funded the fp drill. All I'm saying is please don't do this again.

Meo is a company where I dont mind this sort of thing occurring. They are cashed up, spending there own money and already have strategic partners commited on their other prospects.

Sometimes the wisest choice is to sit on your hands and focus on what is currently in them.
