Yeah I'm undecided on whether MNK are a zero or not - some of the marketing practices around Acthar and the generics business make me think it might be, but generally agnostic.
What is absolutely clear however is that they have $5.5bn of debt and their main earner's sales are collapsing, whilst on the conference call the CFO said they're focused on their credit spreads and share price before they undertake any 'business developments'.
That doesn't suggest to me that even if they wanted to partner with MSB, they have the financial wherewithal to do it. So bye bye Mallinckrodt.
