Yes, I understand how it works and has been canvassed plenty of times on here how they may stage increase the offer. Obviously in the absence of any competition they can do this quite slowly and deliberately.
My point was making phone calls to ask what individual holders will take is a waste of time and money. (Just look at the wild claims on HC)- Not like political polling at all.
Todd are major holders of this company and have already been through the messy OA debacle. I would be very surprised if they didn't have a pretty good handle on what they ultimately expect to have to pay, which obviously may go out the window if some claims on here about another deal in the wind are true.........
ps - I have had only one call and it was quite a lengthy and robust discussion, however he did not ask what I would take.
