I don't think we have to feel too guilty about HX taking jobs. I already established in a long post that there is a critical shortage of brick/block layers. Also, new jobs will be created, like maintaining HXs. This process of out with the old and in with the new has been going on since time immemorial. When the automobile came along, people who tended horses would have lost their jobs, but a whole new industry emerged. Lamplighters used to individually light streetlamps before electricity and switches came along:
