To me, it's simple and it means all local costs are 10% cheaper. just another balls up. Thinking about it, all the servics they are getting from Noetic, would probably have to be self asessed in terms of value (even if paid for via shares in the company). I am a GST expert (I managed the GST project at Deutsche Bank) so I understand the "funnies". The self assesment area is complex, especially when receiving goods or services from offshore.
Ragger, maybe you should suggest to Jason to get some GST professional advice around the self assessment bit because if they are not registered, they will still have to self asess and then they would be 10% worse off as they could not claim it back from the Gov't.
