    dangar, nearly always the difference is "four business days" which invariably involves a weekend and so amounts to six calendar days as in this case unless the record date is a Friday then it is four calendar days and unless they are dual-listed shares in a NZ company where the NZX ex date is four business days before the record date and for the same share entitlement on the ASX the ex date is five business days before the record date.
