Love that quote about "...the futility of a competing class action".
If Corrs does commence a class action, it will no doubt be a very well run piece of commercial litigation. They have been a leading commercial litigation firm for many, many years. Any action that was in 'competition' with that would be detrimental to shareholders' interests.
The class actions seem to be the most exciting thing on the GSW horizon at present. Our keel hit 50c reef yesterday, but we floated off. That said - I can hear the funeral music starting up. If any of the large contracts were 'real' - ie. binding commitments to the service with fees - you'd expect the Company to clarify the position in all of the circumstances.
