Interesting Posts Narna909... I agree with your comments re cost of products being passed onto end consumer. One thing going for Capral is that there are a few very serious players in the resi and commercial that cannot sfford for the only Australian extruder to go down. They totally rely on CAA for the metal and have no intention of shopping overseas. If only they would get back to being a world class extruder and forgo the add ons that they have tried to capture the downstream market (ie powdercoating). Time will tell but at this price I believe it is worth a punt.The Ali window market is not going to slow down even with the on set of Higher Energy Ratings....
