Funny that CAB didn't mention any of this risk to revenues in the recent outlook statement from the first half results. I guess denial is the reason.
See how far down it goes tomorrow when media headlines scream about it from the morning papers. About time . . .I always pay cash in taxis, but some people get blood-funnelled if they don't have any. Lots of tourists cop it too.
5% - that still seems very high to me. 2% sounds about the maximum reasonable fee to me. I hate to mention it - but taxi drivers get robbed - possibly because there is so much cash paid at the moment.
Will close my short tomorrow most likely - will see.
