i don't think it is fair for the state to create a monopoly, sell franchises in the monopoly and then not support the people who bought the franchise. government at its worst. i feel sorry for those who bought plates. I guess the lesson is you can't trust a monopoly to stay a monopoly when it is based on the state allowing it to be a monopoly
