In many political systems, including the U.S., the Vice President can still make significant and visible impacts through policy initiatives, public engagements, and leadership roles. However, under Harris and Biden, there have been numerous challenges and criticisms, ranging from handling of the border crisis to inflation and economic concerns.While the role of a VP does involve supporting the President and handling difficult tasks, it’s not an excuse for perceived inefficacy. The expectation is that both the President and the Vice President deliver measurable and impactful results, which many feel has not been adequately met in this administration.
