DEI is about disability as well y'know. its about enabling people who've been subjected to discrimination. correcting a previous bias against these people.

equal opportunity means the old bias must be ignored, removed, disabled to allow only merit to qualify. if one person exceeds all others on merit they are selected regardless of DEI. if two people of equal merit and one has previously been discriminated against, they should be preferred.

its not about BLM or trans. or any alphabet someone cares to come up with. it remains a matter of merit first.
