I cheerfully disagree. he withdrew military on cost, not to make peace, and pulled them out suddenly resulting in chaos and confusion which only enabled those the US military had been trying to suppress.
so it wasn't "peace" he was making but conditions to enable the ruin of many thousands of lives.
