this joke is universal. I saw it several years ago as a kiwi joke....actually it was a maori joke ....so I guess the same thing

NZ ...where men are men and sheep are anxious

.....I've heard it all three ways

if we took race, sex, religion and Collingwood out of jokes, we'd have no jokes
