Come on. Don't you think you are blowing this out of proportion?
A leg weighs 17kg which is about 25% of total body weight and a knee is only 1.2% of tbw. You can't use that analogy to explain the loss of 18% for Melbourne IT nor can you use it to state what proportion of the fund should have invested in Melbourne IT. There were reasons why the holding was so high with no ability to exit when it was time to exit. Karl has said on a number of occasions he has learned from the experience. Deep sea is a case in point and his wish to split it off. His acumen in picking winners outweighs the one single event MLB provided. Take a look at those returns in my original post. Don't you think it is worth a look?
