No, this could be far bigger than most realise. If any of NCM Orange licences are declared invalid for whatever the reason, then GCResources is there as the next legal claimant. IMO NCM has been at best slipshod, at worst...well that is now before courts.

But with Obeid's signature on the licence NCM would have to worry now.
I dont believe the mining operation is at risk. it would be in no ones interest to see it halted. But there could be a hefty price to pay.

One correction. Freidland has not been mentioned as a shareholder in GCR for a long time. The shareholders now mentioned (in Fairfax press) are better credentialed... Jeremy Barlow, Mark Carnegie, Leigh Clifford, Willy Strothotte. Google that lot and you come up with mutltimillionaires with X factor credibility.
