Regulator has a good point re cost of Cd removal. $20/tonne P2O5 is not $20/tonne RP. The Cd removal cost only becomes relevant when MAK start beneficiation down the track. To make a direct comparison, we'd need the average P2O5 content of Moroccan ore, and that of Wonarah ore, to work out the price advantage for MAK per tonne of ore.
Still, it's an additonal processing step and cost that MAK doesn't have to worry about. And of course MAK has clean DSO too.
