I think you are right but I think you are still confusing PFS with overall survival. As far as I see it the release said nothing about overall survival a much more powerful metric. PFS has been used as a surrogate for OS and has courted a deal of controversy over its usage in drug trials. primarily as it is seen to speed them up, save cost and potentially have drugs approved which convey no overall benefit. I am not sure why they used Overall PFS as a term perhaps to convey the difference between progression in the liver and progression in total.
