At CommunicAsia being held in Singapore this week, Cape Range Wireless Ltd (“Company”) signed up its first non-Malaysian distributorship to provide Arcadian Wireless equipment into Myanmar, formerly known as Burma. An agreement was signed by Myint Win, the Managing Director of Galaxy Enterprises Co Ltd (“Galaxy”). Galaxy is a System Integrator and has been supplying Telecom equipment to various government entities including Myanmar Post and Telecommunications, which is the sole fixed line telecommunication provider in the country. Mr Win stated that, with a population of 50 million and only 400,000 fixed lines available, there was an immediate need for Cape Range’s Arcadian Product Line. Trials are expected to commence within the next two months, prior to rollout, to meet the needs of Myanmar’s telecommunications needs.

Recently, the Company advised that it was developing a joint collaboration with Telekom R&D Sdn Bhd a subsidiary of Telekom Malaysia, to incorporate the Company’s Havana technology into new products. This program will, among other activities, specifically develop a CDMA modem which will permit fixed wireless access to existing CDMA networks in Malaysia. Additionally, a new and immediate use of the Company’s current Arcadian r8/b8 system, which already incorporates Havana technology, has been identified. Further details will be released when the full approval arrangements have been completed.

At CommunicAsia the Company has been able to initiate new sales activities for its existing product line, both in Malaysia and elsewhere.

The launch of the Company’s product in CommunicAsia has been an outstanding success. Trial requests for demonstration have been received from integrators representing most countries for which the Company’s equipment is applicable. The Company is now in a new era.

Many aspects of the Company’s products are being reported in local and international press. As the Company becomes aware of these articles it will post them on the Company’s website www.caperangewireless.com.

After only two days at CommunicAsia, over a thousand trade professionals have registered on the Company’s mailing list. Of these, over a hundred warrant follow up as potential clients.
