Yes, I agree. And it’s likely the the ATO ruling will be a % based split (e.g. 60%TAH 40% TLC) which is applied to your original cost base (I.e. purchase price + incidentals)
Therefore as many people will have differing original cost bases, the resultant cost base re-allocation numbers will be different across many holders.
Therefore, using Straddz’s new cost bases above is most likely to be incorrect in your circumstances, however he may have calculated them.
