Question: How does it work?
Answer: One Cent Call is a multi-platform (app and website) subscription service for mobile phone account holders. Subscribers register their phone with One Cent Call and specify the maximum limit they are willing to donate each month (maximum £3.00 per month per subscriber). When registering, subscribers nominate their cause of interest and the region they want their donation dedicated to. It's that simple.
The donation appears on your monthly mobile phone account and if you would like to change your cause or suspend / unsubscribe from the service, you can do so within a few minutes.
Once subscribed, One Cent Call will contact its members from time to time to advise them of donations made to the cause that they have become part of. In the event of a major disaster, such as a Tsunami or earthquake, we will send you the option of diverting your donation for a period of time and contributing directly to charities dealing with that particular challenge.
