Further to the announcement dated 6 August 2009, Caledon Resources plc ("Caledon" or the "Company"), the AIM and ASX listed Australian coking coal producer, announces that it has received approaches from Essar Minerals Limited and other parties which may or may not lead to a possible cash offer for the Company.
There can be no certainty that either the Essar Minerals Limited approach or the approaches from other parties will lead to an offer for the Company.
