How about actually producing a paper / report anything that can tell us how CO2 has caused the Diablo Winds that is simply a result of a Higher pressure system up on the reat Basin and a Lower pressure towards the coast.
Then add in a Weaker Jet strem that has pushed equatorward which amplifies the Diablo effect and foreful winds.
I guess that could be a good start explaining how CO2 can do that.
As for the drought. California is always in drought
